Director of Asset Management

We are currently seeking a Director of Asset Management to join our Team!   The Director of Asset Management reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
 

The primary responsibility for this position is the management of all Regional and Commercial aircraft airframe platforms at Regional One as it relates to product data management, inventory management, strategic purchasing, lot management, and costing.


The Director of Asset Management will have the following Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the President and VP Customer Support in aligning Asset Management strategies in order to optimize Regional One market share profitability.   

  • Lead the PLM’s team, ensure that all analyses and deliverables are executed in an efficient manner and timely.   

  • Develop and maintain standard processes to be used across all PLM’s.   

  • Ensure that all product data in Quantum is current, accurate and complete.  

  • Work closely with IT in ensuring that NAVA is using the right formulas for analysis and decision-making purposes.

  • Maintain a component list for aircraft dismantles and consignment inventories as well as purchasing high demand components. 

  • Initiate sales campaigns of the product line to global airlines and reciprocal opportunities with airlines for their surplus. 

  • Research and explore additional revenue opportunities as well as the data management team with building the database and coordination with the Regional One global sales team.  

  • This position assists with all aspects of aircraft support including the visibility of all asset maintenance with the goal of improving the accountability and utilization of assets.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Ensure complete and accurate data in Quantum, such as the following.

a. Part # with alternate

b. Tier

c. ATR chapter

d. CLP

e. Repair pricing

f. FMV and Quality index

g. MTBR

  • Run daily receiving report and check product line and any item that shows War Room

  • Check and make any necessary corrections to Tiers according to movement and market conditions

  • Check stock to ensure the next unit is sent out to shop and quantities are accurate

  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly push/buy lists 

  • Maintain base and custom TD harvest list for each platform 

  • Ensure proper part configuration are sent for repair. Aged repairs are analyzed and actioned timely (next – number, SB’s, etc.)

  • Identify needs for airframe TD

  • Analyze AOG demand and ensure proper stock levels

  • Check IPC’s to add interchangeable information into the system

  • Ensure parts quantity is at or above minimum stock number

  • Analyze monthly all lots, maximize inventory turn rate and eliminate remaining costs 

  • Assist sales with all related inquiries, market knowledge, and pricing

  • Run part numbers through ILS and add up to date vendor quotes and market notes

  • Run MIN MAX score card – SV or better to check what items are below the Min and above the MAX

  • Develop and maintain dashboard (KPI’s) for each platform/PLM

  • Assist with QCHOLD items

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred 

  • Minimum of 5 years in the aviation industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Occasional travel, domestic and international
