Director of Engine Planning & Sales 

We are currently seeking a Director of Engine Planning & Sales to join our Team! The Director of Engine Planning & Sales reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and when necessary to the President of Regional One.

 

The primary responsibility for this position is to oversee all engine sale transactions, leases, shop visits and teardowns and parts sale. 

   

The Director of Engine Planning and Sales will have the following Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the need for shop visits or other alternatives in order to minimize capital investment.

  • Review MRO workscopes and estimates

  • Manage teardowns, develop business cases, and manage rotatable sales. 

  • Manage the sale and leases of various engines and components and broader sales projects and initiatives involving engines and analytics including acquisition value. 

  • Maintain harvest lists for the purpose of teardown and part sale.  

  • Responsibilities also include collaboration with support, programs, and logistics to resolve and eliminate both one-off and ongoing sales and supply chain challenges.

  • Parts and Engines Quotes

  • Assess various packages and analytics 

  • Weekly KIV Report

  • Trading Room

  • Master Lot Analysis

  • Data Management

  • Lot Management 
     

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years in the aviation industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Familiar with a large variety of commercial engines. This includes but not limited to, CFM56-5/7 family, V2500A5, CF6-80, GE90 and PW2000/4000. 

  • A&P License a plus

  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Occasional travel, domestic and international
